Devon Homebase stores must find a new buyer by today.

Devon Homebase stores must find a new buyer by today.

Newton Abbot News | 0 comments

Homebase has placed over 70 of its locations on the market, but the Newton Abbot store is not included in that list.

This suggests that the Newton Abbot branch of the DIY and garden retailer may soon transition to become The Range. The retail group CDS, which operates The Range, recently acquired 70 locations through a deal with Teneo, the consulting firm overseeing Homebase’s administration process.

Teneo has published a list of the 74 stores currently without buyers. Notably, while several Devon locations such as Barnstaple and Honiton are on the list, Newton Abbot is absent.

These stores need to secure a buyer by the end of the day tomorrow, Friday, November 29, in order to avoid closure.
